Students have the opportunity to source their own internships and request approval to be enrolled as part of the internship unit. The internship must be approved and enrolment into the unit processed, before commencing the placement, we do not give retrospective credit for placements.
Students will still be required to meet the eligibility criteria and CBS will need to ensure that the role and the host organisation is suitable and complies with our risk assessment and field work policies.
Should you wish to find out if an internship is suitable, please send the position description or letter from the host organisation, outlining your internship role along with the contact details of your supervisor at the host organisation and your student ID to CBSIndustryConnect@curtin.edu.au so we can begin the assessment and approval process.
If you wish to complete the internship extra-curricular you will need to contact the Curtin Careers Centre so you can meet their requirements.
Contact us should you require any further information.
