International internships

Love to travel? Why not combine your love of travelling with real industry experience at an international internship?

Four Curtin Commerce students ticked the Maldives off their bucket lists when they travelled to the archipelago as recipients of the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program. The students received four weeks of hands-on experience in human resource management and industrial relations at some of the Maldives’ most deluxe hotels and resorts.

Maldives Human Resources and Finance Internships

Spend a semester undertaking practical work within your field at one of the Maldives top luxury resorts whilst gaining invaluable international work experience and credit towards your degree!

Dates: Semester 1 – January – June 2021 (flexible dates)
$3000 in New Colombo Plan funding available to eligible domestic students

ACICIS Business Professional Practicum

One of the premier internship programs in the Asia-Pacific region designed for high-achieving undergraduate students, the ACICIS Business Professional Program is both academic and practical. Students undertake 2 weeks of intensive Indonesian language classes along with industry-led seminars and field trips at Atma Jaya University in Jakarta’s CBD.
Students undertake a 4 week supervised professional internship at an English-speaking firm in Jakarta. Placements are assigned based on your major area of study and areas of interest – with large multinational firms, creative industries, Indonesian Stock Exchange, Ministries of Trade, Finance and Chambers of Commerce participating.

Dates: 2 January – 16 February 2021

CRCC Asia Internship Program

The Faculty of Business and Law is offering grants to facilitate students to undertake an international internship program with CRCC Asia. Eligible students can receive a grant of $2,000 to undertake one of the CRCC Asia’s Internship Programs!

CRCC Asia will not only find you a working environment suited to your interests, but will also provide a full schedule of social, cultural and business events to help you make the most of your time in China.
