Mr Neil Le Febvre
Neil is a marketing leader with over 25 years diverse experience operating internationally at executive and board level. He is currently the General Manager of Marketing for HBF, Australia’s 4th largest health insurer and 21st largest private business.
He spent 11 years as head of marketing for award-winning financial services company ThinkSmart where he established the company’s marketing operations in Australia, Europe and the USA. He was General Manager of a start-up Joint Venture with the Halifax Bank of Scotland in the UK providing point of sale finance through Europe’s largest electrical retailer, Dixons Carphone, later expanding operations into Spain.
Despite his years, Neil considers himself a digital native having started his career in a PR agency focused purely on technology companies. One of his first jobs was demonstrating the first internet browser operating on a NeXT computer at a technology conference in Stockholm. The technology didn’t feel like it would change the world at the time. In 2000 he was also part of a team that developed Australia’s first B2C fully automated online finance approvals system that saw ThinkSmart win the Australian Information Industry Association Award for the best use of technology by a business. Fintech before its time.
In addition to his B2C background, Neil has also worked in B2B influencer roles with seven years’ experience in investor relations where he has been involved in over $500m in capital raisings.
