Mr Cédric de Spéville
Cédric de Spéville, joined the Eclosia group in 2003 after completing a “Maitrise en Economie” from Sorbonne University in Paris in 2001, an MSc in Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics in 2002 and after having worked as a consultant for Cofinter in Paris in 2002-2003.
Cédric holds a Master in Business Administration from Columbia Business School (2007). He was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Group in 2009, and Chief Executive Officer in January 2013.
Cédric de Spéville has been the President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2011 to 2013.

Cédric de Spéville is also a board member of numerous private companies of the Eclosia group.
In his first days as COO of the Eclosia Group, Cédric de Spéville initiated the re-organisation of the management structure of the Group, with the creation of 7 distinctive activity sectors and the rationalisation and strengthening of the Corporate Office.
Under Cedric’s leadership, the Group has ventured into new sectors, such as tertiary education as well as into new geographies in the Indian Ocean region and East Africa. The recent years have also seen an important growth for Indigo Hotels, with the addition of two new properties (Hennessy Park Hotel and The Address Boutique Hotel @ Port Chambly) to the existing Labourdonnais Waterfront and Suffren Hotels.
Cedric’s personal belief in entrepreneurship pushed him to create in 2013 the first Angel Investment Fund in Mauritius. This investment company for startups and young SMEs seeking to expand their business gives consulting and capital to dynamic entrepreneurs of Mauritius and Rodrigues.
