Esther Oh is the Managing Director of AusAsia Resources and has extensive global experience in strategy development, finance restructuring, international trade, risk management, business improvement, supply chain and corporate governance for resources, infrastructure, finance, technology and government projects, particularly in Asia Pacific.
Ranked as one of the Top 100 management experts to follow on Twitter and the Best Negotiator in Business across 35 countries, Esther was a Judge for the prestigious International Business Awards in Management in 2011 and 2012. She is also the founder of CPAs in Leadership, and a master trainer equipping business leaders with relevant skills and knowledge for the highly competitive Asian Century. For her contribution to various industries, Esther has won global and local recognition including Asia Pacific’s Bank of East Asia Excellence Award, Western Australia’s 40 under 40 Award, Entrepreneur’s Institute Global Impact Award and CPA Australia Excellence awards.
She currently serves in a non-executive advisory capacity on the Western Australian Divisional Council of CPA Australia and the Resources Committee of Edith Cowan University. She also served on the Governing Council of Challenger Institute of Technology (now integrated under South Metropolitan TAFE) and as a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee. As a distinguished Fellow of the Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Red Hat Certified Engineer and Certified Information Systems Auditor also qualified in Certified Risk Management Assurance, Esther speaks and lectures at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Universitas Trisakti in Indonesia, CPA Congress and the Institute of Internal Auditors in Australia. She holds a Master of Commercial and Resources Law from the University of Western Australia and double degrees in Commerce (Accounting) and Business Systems (IT) from Monash University.
